Statement of Faith

YFC Altona - Youth unlimited is an organization dedicated to reaching youth with the love and truth of Jesus Christ. Youth from every walk of life and worldview are loved and welcomed here at YFC. It is our hope that every teen will see and know their amazing God-given potential and purpose. The statement of faith found on this page is in alignment with Youth For Christ International’s statement of faith.

YFC CANADA MISSION STATEMENT: TO SEE EVERY YOUNG PERSON LIVING FULLY IN CHRIST

GOD

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His various and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

THE BODY OF BELIEVERS

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

SALVATION

We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful people is by the grace of God through faith and the shed blood of the Lord Jesus and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

THE RESURRECTION

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
